Departure Briefing

Two weeks ago I went to the departure briefing and met all the other students from Denmark that are going on exchange in all corners of the world, and to here about their choices and preparations.
I went there, with the two other girls from Als, by train It took 4 hours or something, it took soooo long! But when we almost reached our distention, the train got filled with Rotary students!
When we arrived we got rooms and roomies, and started talking about everything we knew about our exchange.
Later we all got together and we was told about do's and don't's on the school (we were staying on Gudenådalens Ungdomsskole all weekend) after we were divided into district groups and send out to traveltips and talking- and presentationtips. Very important! We also had national groups later, where we learned everything to know about being and exchange students in Rotary. We were guided by ex-students, you know, people there have been away before.
Saturday evening we had the traditional Hawaii party, and had sooo much fun! Really, it was the best. :D Everybody danced and partied and dressed up to Hawaii.
It was an interesting and learnable weekend and it made me even more excited to go than before. Good job Rotary! Just saying ;)
